I work at the European Commission, since 2015, more recently as a Data Scientist / Policy Officer at the unit responsible for the enforcement of the Digital Services Act (DSA). Before that, I was a researcher and an academic (with over 4,000 citations) as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton, UK. Before that, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Statistical Cybermetrics Research Group, involved in the European FP7 Funded project CyberEmotions.
In my free time, I play the piano. I am also a Friskis & Svettis running & running cross instructor.
